Overview
WealthLens is a privacy-first net worth tracker. You enter account balances manually. We do not connect to banks, scrape transactions, or sell your financial data.
This policy explains what information is stored when you use WealthLens, how it is used, and what choices you have.
What data we store
WealthLens stores only the data needed to run your account:
- Authentication credentials managed by our auth provider
- Financial accounts you create (name, type, currency, balance)
- Balance history records you enter or restore from backup
- Your main currency preference for dashboard totals
We do not store bank login details, transaction feeds, card numbers, or brokerage credentials.
Authentication data
When you sign up, we collect your email address and a password (or equivalent credentials) through Supabase Auth, our authentication provider. Supabase handles password hashing and session management.
Your email may be used to sign you in, send password-reset messages, and respond to support requests. We do not send marketing emails.
Financial account data
For each account you add, WealthLens stores the information you provide: account name, optional provider, account type (cash, investment, crypto, pension, liability, or other), currency, and current balance.
